Christian developed his interest to cooking at the age of 15, when he used to help his father at his family restaurant in Toscana every day after school. It was there that he picked up many traditional Toscana recipes — from homemade pasta to Florentine Steak.
After graduation from institute, Christian started to work as Chef's assistant at the best restaurants of the Italian Riviera during summertime, and - for two winter seasons — as main course cook at the five star Cristallo Hotel.Thats where he became a more professional Chef and enriched his knowledge of classic regional cuisine.
Then Christian was appointed as chef at one of the most popular restaurants in Sienna. After two years, Christian was sent to run the kitchen in a newly-opened restaurant in Swindon, England. He created a menu there in full accordance with his cooking philosophy based on respect to natural qualities of products and focus on absolute freshness. In a few months, he met an oligarch who opened a door for him into Russia's restaurant business. After two years of work as a private Chef at an out-of town villa and opening kitchens of several restaurants, Christian became chef of the legendary Mario restaurant on Presnenskaya, where he cooked for such stars as Naomi Campbell, Eros Ramazzotti, Mick Jagger, Sting, Paris Hilton and others.
