There are cars and there’s a Mercedes, they say. And that says it all. The legendary auto has only one height to conquer – the bird’s eye height. And now it has happened – the Mercedes brand is now high above Moscow – below the spire of the renowned Ukraina skyscraper, the Radisson Royal Hotel. That’s where the panoramic restaurant the Mercedes Bar is located on the 31st floor – the joint venue of the Ginza Project group and “Mercedes-Benz Russia SAO”.

The interior design resembles the art-deco style – retro luxury, ironic variation of 1930-40s Manhattan. Only the huge floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows provide views of Moscow in its entire beauty – futuristic skyscrapers of business City, the waters of Moskva River, the White House, the capital’s center. The past and the future have met at the same altitude.

Guests are met with exhibition of retro posters of Mercedes’ old-timers, a collection of modern and retro models – from the Chaika to the SLS AMG super-car by Mercedes. The entire perimeter of the bar has mirror panels, which reflect the view of the capital city. As if the city itself drives into this space alongside Mercedes cars and becomes integral part of the interior design.

Our bar menu and food menu correspond with the status of the car brand. Fantastic cocktails from the best mixologists of the capital, dishes based on hits of modern European cuisine – those will convince you that the whole world is at your feet.
Christian Lorenzini

Christian developed his interest to cooking at the age of 15, when he used to help his father at his family restaurant in Tuscany every day after school. It was there that he picked up many traditional Tuscany recipes - from homemade pasta to Florentine Steak. After graduation from institute, Christian started to work as Chef's assistant at the best restaurants of the Italian Riviera during summertime, and - for two winter seasons - as main course cook at the five star Cristallo Hotel. This enriched his experience and knowledge of regional cuisine.

Then Christian was appointed as chef at one of the most popular restaurants in Sienna. After two years, Christian was sent to run the kitchen in a newly-opened restaurant in Swindon, England. He created a menu there in full accordance with his cooking philosophy based on respect to natural qualities of products and focus on absolute freshness. In a few months he met a Russian oligarch, who opened doors for him into the Russian restaurant business.

After two years of working as chef at elite out-of-town villas, Christian became chef of the legendary Mario restaurant on Presnenskaya, where he cooked for such stars as Naomi Campbell, Eros Ramazzotti, Mick Jagger, Sting, Paris Hilton and others. Since 2011 Christian has been working with the Ginza Project group.
