In the morning, it smells like fresh pastries at the MariVanna – appetizing fired cottage cheese balls and puffy omelet are served here at breakfasts. At lunchtime, you can have a fantastic break and try a bowl of nourishing borscht or duck leg with buckwheat. Evenings are the real festivities at the MariVanna. Homemade liquors, which the caring owner ripens in a special cellar for a month, are pouring in buckets.

Tables are cracking under the variety of food – herrings with potatoes, crusty pickles, the Olivier salad, the Kholodets meat jelly, toasts from Borodinsky bread with salmon, which spent the night under fragrant herbs.

At other tables, guests — in the meantime — are being served fried potatoes on a sizzling pan, ice fish with rosemary, and, of course, the famous cutlets with mashed potatoes and pickles. Don’t forget about the delicious Napoleon cake for dessert.
The charming hostess Anna meets the guests together with her pets – Venya the cat, Petya the fish and Pavlik the canary. Music here immediately plunges you into nostalgia about the times of the Abba discos and Soviet-style New Year dinners.

Certainly, to feel the wonders of this home to their fullest, you have to come here at least once. But when you become its permanent resident, you will be gifted with your own key to the restaurant, which, by the way, would also open you doors of the MariVanna restaurants in St. Petersburg, New York, London and Washington D.C.
